Descender Carabiner
The screw gate carabiner that connects your descender to your D-ring. Needs to be a larger oval or HMS shape.
What to look for
You need a screw gate carabiner that is big enough to fit both your descender's connection hole and your harness D-ring. A Petzl OK oval screw-lock is a good choice. The oval shape keeps your descender sitting correctly on your D-ring without twisting or shifting around.
Any screw gate carabiner that is large enough and UIAA approved will do the job.
