Neoprene keeps you warm in very wet or cold caves when an undersuit alone won’t cut it.
What to look for
Full-length 3-5 mm one-piece suit with long arms and legs. Tough outer lining, flat-lock seams and minimal zips. Expect heavy abrasion, so avoid paying premium surf-brand prices or using your triathlon swimming one.
What to get first
Standard kit (wellies, helmet + light, oversuit). Wear instead of an undersuit when warmth is critical.
