Your report has two key goals:
1. **Capture the whole story**: The caving trips, the social life at the hut, the epic meals. You’re telling the story of the entire weekend.
2. **Share the adventure**: Show people who weren’t there (including potential new members) what our weekend trips are like.

Since you can’t be everywhere at once, think of yourself as a coordinator. By gathering stories from all the different caving groups, you create a report that’s inclusive, comprehensive, and welcoming.

Your best content will come from the group. You don’t have to write it all yourself! A great approach is to ask one person from each caving group to write a short summary of their day.

After the trip, post in the Messenger chat to ask questions like:
– “What was the most memorable moment from your caving trip?”
– “What was the funniest thing that happened at the hut?”
– “What was the best bit of the food?”

Make a special effort to get memories from people you don’t know as well, or who are new to the Crew. This makes them feel valued and helps build a stronger community.

Gather photos from everyone in the group chat.
– Aim for around 15-20 photos to represent the whole weekend.
– Get photos from all the different caving trips.
– Don’t forget photos of the social side: people cooking, eating, planning trips, or just chilling at the hut.
– A group photo is always a classic!

Assemble your collection of summaries, quotes, and photos into a single post for the Caving Crew Facebook group.

– Weave the different stories together into one big narrative of the weekend.
– If you can, tag the participants in the post or photos.
– Keep the tone positive and inclusive.
