A fantastic trip descending into the impressive Kingsdale Master Cave and exploring upstream to the spectacular Swinsto Great Aven. This route requires basic SRT skills for the 8 m pitch into the Master Cave. Once in the Master Cave, the trip follows the streamway upstream through increasingly dramatic passage before reaching the huge aven where water from Swinsto Hole and Simpson Pot crashes down from 45 m above. An excellent introduction to the West Kingsdale system.
