Leading SRT Levels

Optional Ladder Leader

As a Crew, we tend not to use wire ladders in favour of SRT. These are the skills to lead a group using ladders.

Optional Lowering Leader

Occasionally, it's helpful to have the skills to lower people in a harness using a descender - for example, to allow a non-SRT group access to a SRT through trip with a horizontal exit.

SRT Leader Advanced

Complex and consequential rigging, problem solving and self rescue in remote and serious locations.

SRT Leader Basic

Basic leader can lead Competent SRTers who are signed off on Basic SRT on simple single pitches.

SRT Leader Intermediate

Skills for leading people in locations with simple and straightforward rebelays and deviations.
